Overview

Appointment of a contractor to supply and install water filtration and pump shelter for Manguzi. Eligible bidders are contractors with CIDB grading of 1EB or higher and proven capability in water filtration system supply/installation and pump shelter works, who meet tax, registration, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 1EB or higher; COIDA good standing; VAT (where applicable)
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or TCS; if in a consortium, separate PIN/CSD for each party
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration or equivalent proof
• Submission on official forms (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1) and adherence to GCC/PPPFA terms
• Compulsory site briefing: 19 August 2026, 15:00 at Manguzi Shopping Centre
• Bid submission: hand delivery to Ithala Trade Centre or email to quotes@ithala.co.za; closing 24 August 2026, 11:00
• Pricing schedule attached (ANNEXTURE A RFQ378/58000/2026)
• Preference points: 80/20 or 90/10 system; demonstration of specific goals (≥51% Black ownership; ≥51% Women ownership; ≥51% Youth ownership; ≥25% People living with disability)
• Documentation to claim preferences and ensure no conflicts of interest (SBD 4, SBD 1, etc.)
