APPOINTMENT OF A CONTRACTOR WITH CIDB GRADING 2GB, 2SN AND 1SG OR HIGHER FOR REFURBISHMENT OF THE SHOP 13A AT WILSONS WHARF. Open tender targeted at contractors with CIDB 2GB/2SN and 1SG (or higher) capable of refurbishment works at Wilsons Wharf.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 2GB, 2SN and 1SG or higher (mandatory).
• Tax and registration: VAT registration, SARS Tax Clearance, and Tax PIN; separate TCS/PIN for each consortium member; where not available, provide CSD number.
• Compliance documents: SBD 1 (invitation to bid), SBD 4 (declaration of interest), SBD 6.1 (preference claim form), and SBD 7 (sign contract if awarded).
• Pre-qualification: register as a vendor on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD); COIDA Letter of Good Standing; CIDB grading evidence.
• Ethics and governance: bid integrity declarations; no conflicts of interest; non-collusion statements.
• Specific goals (preferences): potential points for ≥51% Black Ownership, ≥51% Women Ownership, ≥51% Youth Ownership, and ≥51% People with disabilities Ownership (documentation required to claim points).
• Evaluation framework: two-stage process—Stage 1 Administrative Compliance; Stage 2 Price and Preference Points (80/20 system).
