Overview

Appointment of an Environmental Assessment Practitioner for the refinement of the Bergrivier Municipality Coastal Management Programme (CMP). Bids are invited from suitably qualified and experienced service providers in environmental planning/assessment. Key dates: compulsory briefing 26 August 2026 at Velddrif; closing 14 September 2026 at 12:00. Bid validity: 120 days.

Requirements

• Suitably qualified and experienced Environmental Assessment Practitioner for CMP refinement (coastal management focus).
• Compliance with PPPFA 80/20, and submission of Preference Points claim forms; BBBEE level documentation (certicate or sworn affidavit).
• Registration on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and submission of CSD number and Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN.
• All mandatory forms attached and completed: MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9, MBD10; pricing schedules; Form of Offer; Declaration by Tenderer; and required indemnities.
• Compulsory site briefing and clarification meeting attendance; late arrivals disqualified.
• Bids must be VAT inclusive; documents and prices must be in official formats; no faxes or emails accepted.

How to Apply

• Obtain bid documents from the Bergrivier Municipality website or via request (R70 from Coellin Julius) per document (Tender Document 8.3.42-2026 MN160-2026.pdf).
• Submit sealed bids in the tender box at Bergrivier Municipal Offices, 13 Kerk Street, Piketberg (12:00, 14 September 2026). Bids deposited in the wrong box or after closing will be disqualified.
• Submit the following with the bid: MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9, MBD10; Pricing Schedule; Form of Offer; BBBEE documentation; TCS PIN or CSD number; and any relevant joint venture/consortium/partnership information.
• Ensure CSD registration and SARS Tax Compliance status PIN are current; foreign bidders must complete the Part B:3 questionnaire.
• Site briefing details: 26 August 2026 at 11:00 at Velddrif offices (compulsory).
