APPOINTMENT OF A MANAGEMENT CONTRACTOR FOR THE REFURBISHMENT OF HAVEMAN AND OLD ACCESS ROAD SEWER PUMP STATIONS IN VILJOENSKROON IN MOQHAKA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY - PHASE 1

Overview

Procurement of a Management Contractor to oversee the refurbishment of Haveman and Old Access Road Sewer Pump Stations in Viljoenskroon, Moqhaka Local Municipality – Phase 1. Open tender by MISA; CIDB 5ME+ or the ability to register prior to evaluation; NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract – Option F (Priced Contract with Activity Schedule); joint ventures allowed with lead partner meeting the 5ME+ requirement; essential water and sanitation project experience.

Requirements

• CIDB: registered or capable of registration prior to evaluation; 5ME or higher (joint ventures allowed with lead partner 5ME+); provide CIDB certificate.
• Key personnel: Contract Manager (Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree, NQF 7+, ECSA) and Site Agent (NQF 6+, relevant water/wastewater experience, both with detailed CVs).
• Compliance: CIDB proof, SBD forms, CSD annexure, tax matters in order, B-BBEE (if subcontracting >25%), resolution for signatory, joint venture certificate where applicable.
• Attendance: compulsory briefing and site visit; sign attendance; addenda issued to attendees.
• Other: no alternatives; no correction fluid; online communications in English; POPIA consent for data processing.
• Evaluation: Phase 1 eligibility (CIDB etc.), Phase 2 functionality (min 60 points), Phase 3 80/20 price vs. preferences (PPPFA 2022) with specific goals (women, youth, Moqhaka location, B-BBEE).
