Overview

Procurement of a registered professional multi-disciplinary consulting team to provide professional services for the reinstatement of the HVAC system to the existing theatres at RK Khan Hospital. Bidders should be established firms capable of supplying the following professionals: Architect, Quantity Surveyor, Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer (as Mechanical/FIRE Engineer and Principal Agent) and PA, all with appropriate registrations and professional indemnity cover.

Requirements

• Phase 1 SCM Administrative Compliance: Correct bid documents; registration with CSD; tax clearance and other prescripts.
• Phase 2 Mandatory Criteria: Full multi-disciplinary team including Mechanical Engineer, Fire Engineer and Principal Agent; each named professional registered with the relevant council; mandatory professional indemnity cover (Architect 2M; QS 2M; Civil 2M; Structural 2M; Mechanical/Fire/PA 5M; Electrical 2M).
• Phase 3 Price & Specific Goals: Price evaluated on 80/20 (price 80, specific goals 20); claim points for specific goals (Ownership by Black People 5; Promotion of enterprises located in eThekwini 15; other goals not applicable).
• Additional: B-BBEE documentation required for preference eligibility; compliance with tax/CSD requirements; bids must be valid for 120 days.
