Overview

Procurement of a panel of five service providers for the supply and delivery of MGB 240 Litre two-wheeled wheelie bins to JB Marks Local Municipality, Waste Management, on an as-and-when-required basis for three years. Suitable bidders are bin manufacturers/suppliers able to meet the MGB 240L specification (HDPE, injection molded, UV resistant, hinged lid, steel axle, 240 L capacity, dimensions, green color, JB Marks embossing, serial numbers) and with relevant municipal/public sector experience. Requirements

• Must comply with MGB 240 LITRE TWO WHEELED WHEELIE BINS specs (HDPE, UV resistant, hinge lid, steel axle, 240 L, 1080x580x640 mm, ~15 kg, green with JB MARKS LM embossing; serial numbers).
• Must meet SABS/SANS 1494 standards; provide SABS capability report not older than 12 months.
• Proof of experience: track record for similar supply/delivery (appointments and delivery notes) and at least five contactable references.
• Compliance documents: valid Tax Clearance, SARS PIN/CSD number (or CSD if no TCS), and returnable documents (company profile, director IDs, municipal rates/lease evidence, etc.).
• If bidding as a consortium, each party must meet requirements; capability report from SABS required.
• Specific goals for preferential points may apply; need to provide proof documents if claiming points.
• All prices must be firm and inclusive of delivery; pricing schedule must be completed; 90-day validity for offers.

• Submission format: both hard copy and a disc/USB copy; envelopes clearly marked with Bid No. 60/2025 and title.
• Documents to submit: MBD 1, MBD 3.1, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 7.1, MBD 8, MBD 9, contract forms, Pricing Schedule, and all returnables listed in the tender package. Include full capability/SABS report (not older than 12 months) and proof of previous similar work.
• Registrations: register on Central Supplier Database (CSD) if not already; provide Tax Clearance Status or PIN; foreign bidders complete Part B:3 requirements.
