Overview

Appointment of a panel of legal practitioners to render legal services for a 3-year contract period. Beaufort West Municipality invites legal practitioners with capacity to provide municipal/public-sector legal services, subject to an 80% functionality threshold to progress to price and preference evaluation.

Requirements

• 80% functionality prerequisite to be considered for price and preference points.
• Evaluation: 80/20 preference points (80 for Price, 20 for Specific Goals: B-BBEE status level; promoting enterprises located in the municipal area WC053).
• Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) or register online at csd.gov.za.
• Bid documents: non-refundable fee of R265 for printed documents; electronic documents free. Payment proof required to obtain documents (Bank: Nedbank; account 107 428 0318; reference SCM 37/2026).
• All bids must be sealed and submitted by 14:00 on 17 July 2026, to the Tender Box at the Supply Chain Management Unit, Sanlam Building, 112 Donkin Street, Beaufort West. Bids opened publicly; late or non-ink bids not accepted. Tender validity: 120 days (document) [note: metadata lists 123 days].
