Appointment of a Panel of Markers for Assessment ScriptsClosed

Overview

Procurement of a Panel of Markers for EISA/Examination Scripts to mark SASSETA qualification scripts. Open to ETD Practitioners with SASSETA Assessor/Marker registration and relevant SAQA/PSIRA qualifications for listed occupations (e.g., Family Law Practitioner, Close Protector, Paralegal, Security Officers, Police/Military roles, etc.). Contract up to 31 March 2030, with a budget not exceeding R50 million and an 80/20 evaluation weighting.

Requirements

• Phase 1 mandatory: ETD Practitioner must submit ETDP SETA assessor/marker results (unit standards 115753, 115759) or ODEDT certificate and SASSETA Assessor/Marker registration; international qualifications must be SAQA-verified with proof.
• Phase 2 mandatory: provide certificate/documentation for chosen SAQA ID(s) and tick the qualification applied for; attach SAQA verification where required.
• Experience and references: CV showing required years of experience per qualification; 1–4 reference letters from clients marking assessments.
• Compliance: SBD forms (SBD1, SBD3.3, SBD4, SBD6.1), CSD registration with a copy of the CSD report; adherence to POPIA and confidentiality.
• Scoring: functionality threshold of 70% to qualify for price/priority evaluation; price and specific goals weighting 80/20.
