Overview

Appointment of a panel of up to five contractors for contractor development to replace and construct water and sewer networks in the Steve Tshwete Local Municipality (STLM) area for three financial years, as and when required. This tender targets civil/municipal water and sewer works; suitable bidders are CIDB 1CE+ contractors with capacity for multi-year network replacement projects, and who meet state-service exclusions and other tender conditions.

Requirements

• CIDB grading of 1CE or higher (Compulsory)
• Tenderers must be natural persons and not in the service of the state; any director/manager must meet exclusions (Compulsory)
• Annexure A attachments required; mandatory items include: Copy of Company Registration Certificate (CK), Copy of current Municipal Account, Audited Annual Financial Statements (past 3 years), Joint Venture agreements (if any), CIDB grading, COIDA/Workmen’s Comp, and all forms filled (Compulsory)
• Tax compliance status PIN (non-compulsory) and CSD summary (non-compulsory)
• JV registration on CSD (if applicable) and Joint Venture must be registered on CSD (Compulsory)
• Other compulsory conditions as per tender document (e.g., medical certificates where applicable) (Compulsory)
