Overview

Appointment of a panel of up to six service providers for the supply and delivery of personal protective equipment (PPE) for Maluti-a-Phofung Local Municipality for 36 months. Bidders should be PPE suppliers/manufacturers or distributors capable of multi-item PPE supply across municipal divisions; must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and compliant for tax, rates clearance, and related pre-qualifications. Closing date: 22 October 2026 at 10:00.

Requirements

• Copy of Company Registration Certificate (CRC) with active members.
• CSD registration; provide CSD number; JV parties must be registered.
• SARS PIN for tax status visibility.
• Complete municipal rates and taxes clearance form or show no arrears >3 months.
• For consortia, each party must submit separate Tax Compliance Status/Pin/CSD.
• Properly indexed bid document; sealed bids clearly labeled with SCM/BID03/2026/2026.
• No bids from persons in the State; comply with SCM policy (80/20) and balance scorecard.
• Bid validity: 90 days; only one submission per bidder.
• Follow General Conditions of Contract (GCC) including performance security, warranty, payment terms.
