Overview

APPOINTMENT OF A PANEL OF NOT MORE THAN TWENTY (20) SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR HIRING OF PLANT (CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT) FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (03) YEARS ON AS AND WHEN REQUIRED BASIS. The KRLM invites bids from plant-hire suppliers to lease a wide range of construction equipment (e.g., tipper trucks, graders, loaders, excavators, water bowsers, rollers, etc.) for use by the Community Services Department within Kgetlengrivier.

Requirements

• Valid ownership/licensing certificates (e-Natis) or proof of ownership; lease agreements if leased; ownership documents not older than the equipment’s model year.
• Equipment offered must meet listed minimum capacities and be available for the full 3-year term; age not older than 2014 model; roadworthy certificates where applicable.
• Compliance with contract terms on maintenance, fuel, lubricants, transport, and safety as detailed in the Terms of Reference.
• Evaluation: minimum threshold 75 points; 80/20 price/equity split; equity categories (Women, Disabled, Locality, Youth, BBBEE) and Locality within KRLM jurisdiction; reference letters from government institutions.
