Overview

The tender seeks the appointment of a PANEL OF PROFESSIONAL ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS. It targets electrical engineering firms capable of providing professional services under ECSA governance, with mandatory documentation, and a competitive evaluation. Requirements

• The tenderer must be an ELECTRICAL engineering business under the fulltime supervision of a registered ELECTRICAL engineer or technologist, and be owned/controlled by registered professionals (≥51%).
• Proof of current professional registration with ECSA for all principals, including at least one Lead Electrical Engineer (Pr. Eng) and a minimum of three supporting engineers/technologists; Lead must have 15+ years post-qualification experience; supporting staff must hold at least a BSc/BEng in Electrical Engineering and ≥5 years post-qualification experience.
• Returnable documents including: MMSEZ-01 Ownership, MMSEZ-02 Projects, MMSEZ-06/07/08 resolutions (consortium/lead entity as applicable), MMSEZ-09 Certification, MMSEZ-10 Preference form, and fully completed pricing and contract schedules (C2.2/C2.3) per the Returnable Schedules.
• Professional Indemnity Insurance at least twice the contract amount; proof of ownership/control by ECSA-registered professionals (>51%); proof of CSD registration; SARS Tax Compliance PIN or TCS status; VAT registration.
• Compliance with the CIDB Standard Conditions of Tender and Stage-based evaluation (administrative, substantive, functionality).
