APPOINTMENT OF A PANEL OF SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL CHEMICAL WASTE DISPOSAL SERVICES TO THE GERT SIBANDE DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY WATER QUALITY LABORATORY AS AND WHEN REQUIRED FOR THE PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS.

Overview

Procurement of a panel of service providers for professional chemical waste disposal to the Gert Sibande District Municipality Water Quality Laboratory, as and when required, for 36 months. Eligible bidders are those with hazardous waste management capabilities and relevant certifications (e.g., hazardous waste transporter and waste management licenses), plus compliance with South African tax, procurement, and supplier regulations (CSD registration, BBBEE, etc.).

Requirements

• Functionality: minimum 40/40 points to qualify (80/20 evaluation later). Points include:
  • Hazardous Waste Transporter Certificate (20 points)
  • Waste Management License (20 points)
• Compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN/CSD), BBBEE documentation, municipal clearance.
• Experience/capacity to perform safe collection, transportation, and treatment of chemical waste; ability to issue a Chemical Waste Disposal Certificate.
• No bids from persons in the service of the State.
• Returnable documents and bid forms fully completed (MBD 1, Forms A–L), signed by an authorised representative.
• Compulsory briefing attendance and closing procedures as specified.
