APPOINTMENT OF A PANEL OF SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF HEAVY COMMERCIAL VEHICLES AND ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE FOR THE CITY OF MBOMBELA FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS. This tender seeks panel members to provide maintenance, service and breakdown/roadside assistance for heavy vehicles (>3 tons) for Mbombela over 36 months. Eligible bidders: Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) franchises and other capable service providers registered with RMI or equivalent, with workshop capacity in Mbombela and after-hours breakdown capability. Requirements

• Tax and regulatory compliance: valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN; SARS e-Filing or print TCS; CSD registration; directors’ details; proof for foreign bidders if applicable.
• Registration and accreditation: full CSD report (not older than 30 days); certified proof of OEM/RMI or equivalent accreditation; certified company/company registration certificates.
• B-BBEE: certified B-BBEE level certificate or sworn affidavit; JV/consortium must provide consolidated B-BBEE evidence.
• Municipal compliance: current municipal rates/taxes for company and all directors; matching CSD/company addresses; lease agreements if applicable.
• Returnable documents: certified copies of IDs for owners/directors; 3-month-valid certifications; all documents stamped by a Commissioner of Oaths.
• Evaluation criteria: compulsory workshop/verification scoring; minimum 70/100 points; Stage 2 site visits to shortlisted bidders.
• Other: no briefing session; adherence to anti-fraud provisions and SCM rules.
