APPOINTMENT OF A PANEL OF SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR THE MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, REFURBISHMENT, SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING OF ELECTROMECHANICAL EQUIPMENT AND ASSOCIATED CONTROL SYSTEMS IN THE HESSEQUA MUNICIPAL AREA FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS

Overview

Appointment of a panel of service providers for the maintenance, repair, refurbishment, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electromechanical equipment and associated control systems in the Hessequa Municipal Area for a period of three years. This is a rates-based framework with three Lots: Lot 1 Pumps, Motors and Mechanical Equipment (CIDB 2ME+); Lot 2 MCCs, Electrical Panels, Telemetry and Control Systems (CIDB 2EP+); Lot 3 Emergency Generators and Related Control Systems (CIDB 2ME+). Tenderers may bid for one or more Lots. Up to 4 Lot1, up to 3 Lot2, and up to 3 Lot3 contractors may be appointed; CIDB grading will be verified per Task Order. Prospective bidders must be registered on the National Treasury CSD and, if required, on the Hessequa Accredited Supplier Database. No site meeting.

Requirements

• CIDB per Lot: Lot 1 2ME+, Lot 2 2EP+, Lot 3 2ME+; eligibility per Lot.
• May tender for one or more Lots; appointments do not guarantee work quantity.
• Evaluation: 80/20 split; 80 for price, 20 for locality and B-BBEE (10+10). Minimum functionality 70/100.
• Pre-qualifications: register on CSD; register on Hessequa Accredited Supplier Database if required.
• Tender documents: non-refundable fee R200; payment by bank deposit into specified account; proof of payment with tender.
• Validity: tenders remain valid for 90 days.
• Clarifications: written requests due 10 calendar days before closing.
• Tender submissions: sealed envelopes; hand-delivered to the Riversdale tender box; email/fax/electronic submissions not accepted.
