APPOINTMENT OF A PANEL OF SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF POTABLE WATER TO UGU DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY FOR A PERIOD OF THIRTY-SIX (36) MONTHS

Overview

Appointment into a panel of service providers for the supply and delivery of potable water to Ugu District Municipality for a period of 36 months. Bids are invited from qualified service providers to form a panel for potable water supply/delivery. Applicants must be tax compliant (Tax Clearance), registered on the Central Supplier Database, meet BBBEE considerations, and comply with SCM requirements. No compulsory briefing session. Closing date/time: 06 November 2026 at 12:00; bids valid 90 days. Documents may be obtained from Ugu’s Port Shepstone office for R1000 or downloaded from the website/e-tender portal. Bids must be deposited in the official tender box at 96 Marine Drive, Oslo Beach Phase 2 Building.

Requirements

• Qualified service providers for potable water supply and delivery.
• Valid Tax Clearance certificate and, if applicable, separate TC/CS for joint ventures.
• Central Supplier Database registration; provide CSD PIN/number.
• BBBEE status verification or sworn affidavit and other SCM documentation.
• Compliance with PPPFA Regulations (80/20 or 90/10) and ability to claim specific goals.
• Complete and submit official forms (MBD 1, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 7.2) and Pricing Schedule, plus supporting documents (company reg., municipal accounts, lab clearance, vehicle ownership, roadworthiness).
• No bids from persons in the service of the state.
