APPOINTMENT OF A PANEL OF SERVICE PROVIDERS TO PROVIDE CLEANING AND HORTICULTURE SERVICE AT STATIONS AND WORKPLACES FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS, KZN. The RFP, issued by PRASA, seeks multiple service providers to cover cleaning and horticultural maintenance across PRASA facilities in KwaZulu-Natal, including stations, depots, offices, and external precincts (36 months). Eligible bidders are firms with cleaning/horticultural capabilities and required SA compliance, certifications, and governance.

Requirements

• CSD registration and supplier details (National Treasury Central Supplier Database).
• Tax compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status or PIN; applicable for all parties in consortia/JVs.
• Compliance with SA standards and regulations: SABS/SANS for chemicals, equipment; OHS Act, Hazardous Chemical Regulations; PPE training; MSDS; safe storage/transport.
• Environmental and safety: GHS labeling, storage cabinets, PPE, training, and hazard controls.
• Contracting prerequisites: JV/consortium arrangements if applicable; confidentiality and security screening (PSIRA if security-related).
• Documentation: complete returnable documents (Forms A–H, SBD 4, SBD 6.1) and confirmations as per Annexures.
