APPOINTMENT OF A PANEL OF SERVICE PROVIDERS TO SUPPLY AND DELIVER ICT EQUIPMENT AND PERIPHERALS FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS. The MICT SETA invites bids from ICT equipment OEMs or accredited resellers to form a panel for supplying laptops, tablets, monitors, peripherals and related ICT hardware, with onsite support and warranty coverage for 36 months. Suitable bidders must be OEM-accredited, able to provide OEM warranties, and meet technical, financial, and reference requirements.

Requirements

• OEM accreditation to resell/supply computer equipment (annual verification required).
• Demonstrate compliance with the technical specifications (Section 5.2), including product brochures showing conformity to listed laptop, iPad, monitor, docking station, and accessory specs.
• A healthy credit facility with the OEM or distributor.
• Returnable documents: CSD registration, valid Tax Clearance PIN, and SBD forms (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1) with supporting evidence.
• Evidence of five years’ RSA ICT equipment supply experience (references) and risk management plan addressing specified risk categories.
• After-sales/warranty commitments (turnaround times) and ability to deliver as required.
• Compliance with PFMA/PPF Regulations and related procurement terms; 120-day bid validity.

• Submission deadline: 18 August 2026 at 11:00 (South African Time).
• Submission method: sealed envelope containing 1 hard copy and 1 USB, placed in the tender box at MICT SETA Head Office reception (19 Richards Drive, Gallagher Convention Centre, West Wing, Level 3, Midrand) (BID DOCUMENT MICT-SETA-EQU-01-2026 F.pdf).
• Documents to submit: official forms (SBD 1 Part A & B, SBD 4, SBD 6.1), Form A eligibility, CSD report, CIPC/tax clearances, proof of OEM accreditation, technical brochures, pricing/ cost schedules, references, risk plan, and evidence of credit facility.
• Pre-qualifications: register on CSD; provide tax compliance PIN/TCS; ensure OEM accreditation.
• Clarifications: written inquiries to bidqueries@mict.org.za, five days before closing; include bid reference MICT/SETA/EQU/01/2026.
• Briefing: no supplier briefing session (N/A).
• Evaluation: mandatory criteria (OEM accreditation and technical compliance) followed by technical/functional criteria; minimum threshold 80/100; lead times and after-sales/Warranty are scored.
