APPOINTMENT OF A POTENTIAL SERVICE PROVIDER FOR RENDERING OF MOVABLE ASSETS VERIFICATION AT ORBIT TVET COLLEGE FOR FOUR SITES: CENTRAL OFFICE, BRITS, MANKWE AND RUSTENBURG CAMPUSES FOR THE PERIOD OF 12 TO 24 MONTHS.

Overview

Appointment of a service provider to render movable assets verification at ORBIT TVET College across four sites for 12 to 24 months. The scope includes GRAP 17 asset register, disclosure notes, asset verification, and audit support; target bidders are asset-management specialists with GRAP expertise and a CA(SA)–led team, ideally with education-sector experience.

Requirements

• GRAP 17 asset register development and GRAP-compliant Asset Disclosures (GRAP 17, CET Act 16 of 2006, PFMA, National Treasury Regulations).
• Lead team by Registered Chartered Accountant (CA (SA)); team with BCom in Accounting/Auditing; minimum 2 years’ experience; at least one member with 5+ years.
• Minimum three contactable references for GRAP asset-register projects in the last 3 years (with letters).
• Deliverables and timelines: 12 weeks from award; verify per site within 22 working days; final results within 10 working days after site conclusion; additional 10 working days on request; weekly status reports; final per-site Excel and hardcopy reports; asset management plan; process/resources proposal.
• Compliance: complete SBD forms, CSD registration, tax compliance (PIN/TCS); 90-day bid validity; no blacklisted entities; no state-employees or related conflicts.
• Commercial: fixed monthly fee per site (Central Office and Rustenburg counted as one site); provider supplies barcodes, transport, and site logistics.
