APPOINTMENT OF A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A FEASIBILITY STUDY ON THE BENEFICIATION OF MARULA FRUIT (ONCE-OFF).

Overview

Appointment of a professional service provider to develop a feasibility study on the beneficiation of marula fruit (once-off). Sekhukhune District Municipality invites bids from professional service providers with expertise in agricultural feasibility studies, agro-processing, market analysis and implementation planning. The assignment covers inception to final deliverables for assessing marula beneficiation opportunities, with a 90-day bid validity and a mandatory briefing session at Groblersdal. Requirements

• Postgraduate degree in Agricultural Sciences, Horticulture, Food Science and Technology, Agroprocessing, Agricultural Economics or Chemical Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in feasibility studies, agricultural development, agro-processing, market analysis, and commercialization.
• Evidence of past relevant projects (CVs, appointment letters, references).
• Ability to develop inception reports, situational analyses, draft/ final feasibility studies and prototype concepts for cosmetics, nutraceuticals and food.
• Compliance with tax and supplier registrations (Tax Clearance/PIN, CSD, CIDB registration); submission of returnable documents (MBD forms 1,4-9, Schedule 1A/1B, etc.).
• Adherence to 80/20 Preferential Points system with HDI/local goals, and disclosure of any related party conflicts.
• Bid validity: 90 days; other administrative requirements (consent for municipal services verification, etc.).
