Appointment of a professional service provider to support implementation of FoodBev SETA's Audit Remediation and Control Improvement Plan, including qualification-matter remediation, discretionary grant project reconciliation, financial reporting and audit readiness. Bidders should be registered audit firms with IRBA; the Project Director must be a CA(SA) and RA with IRBA; demonstrate public-sector audit readiness experience and provide mandatory documents. The engagement spans 12 months and focuses on remediation, control design, data quality and audit-readiness, not a statutory audit.

Requirements

• The bidder must be an IRBA-registered audit firm; the Project Director must be a CA(SA) and RA with IRBA; SAICA membership and IRBA registration for the proposed director; suitable documentation to verify.
• Core team: Project Director, Project Manager and four Accountants; on-site delivery required (remote alone not accepted).
• Strong public-sector audit readiness capability and experience with GRAP/PFMA and discretionary grant environments; provide references and SAQA evaluations for foreign qualifications if applicable.
• Pricing benchmarked against DPSA rates; rigorous governance, knowledge transfer and 12-month handover with exit sustainability planning.
