Overview

Appointment of a qualified & experience service provider for the complete maintenance service of the surveillance system & access control system for a period of 3 years, including an on-off upgrade of the access control system. The project covers CCTV and access-control maintenance for SABC Durban (KZN), with a compulsory one-off upgrade of the access-control system and ongoing preventative and reactive maintenance. Key eligibility: bidders must hold PSIRA and SAIDSA certificates, be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), hold a valid TV License Statement, Tax Clearance, provide a valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, and submit certified company registrations and director/shareholder IDs. A mandatory site visit is on 07 Sept 2026; closing date is 22 Sept 2026. Submissions are by email (RFQSubmissions@sabc.co.za) and bid validity is 90 days.

Requirements

• Valid PSIRA & SAIDSA certificates for the company.
• Proof of CSD registration.
• Valid TV License Statement for the company and active directors.
• Valid Tax Clearance (or SARS PIN).
• Original or certified BBBEE certificate or SANAS affidavit.
• Certified copy of company registration and active directors; certified shareholders’ certificates; certified IDs of directors.
• Attendance at the compulsory site visit (07 Sept 2026, Durban); PPE required; attendance register signed; non-attendance may disqualify bids.
• Compliance with health, safety, environmental, and NKP access requirements; detailed pricing via Annexure F.
