APPOINTMENT OF A QUALIFIED SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE PROVISION OF MAINTENANCE OF STANDBY GENERATOR FOR PERIOD OF TWELVE MONTHS AT NHBRC SUNNINGHILL OFFICEClosed

Overview

The National Home Builders Registration Council seeks a qualified service provider to perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance of the NHBRC standby generator at the Sunninghill office for 12 months. Bidders should have generator maintenance expertise and appropriate electrical/mechanical qualifications, plus compliance with public-sector procurement rules (SARS/TCS, CSD, B-BBEE).

Requirements

• Valid COIDA certification under Electrical or Mechanical discipline (Department of Labour)
• Grading 1ME or 1EB
• Qualified generator technicians or diesel mechanics with 3–5 years’ experience; trade certificates and detailed CVs
• Electrician with relevant qualifications and wireman’s license; 2–5 years’ experience
• Three contactable reference letters from recent clients, on client letterhead, including contact person and project dates
• 24-hour emergency call-out capability; breakdown attendance within 4 hours
• Compliance with safety and environmental regulations; minimal operational disruption
• Availability of qualified personnel for emergencies
• Submit: SBD forms (including SBD4 and SBD6.1), Pricing Schedule, MBD7 contract form
• Provide maintenance reports, schedules, fault/repair reports, quarterly performance reports, and an annual condition assessment
