Overview

APPOINTMENT OF A REPUTABLE SERVICE PROVIDER FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ROAD CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE MATERIAL FOR A PERIOD OF TWENTY-FOUR (24) MONTHS. Mkhondo Local Municipality invites bids from established suppliers of road construction and maintenance materials. Suitable bidders include entities with CIDB registration, registered on the CSD/CIDB, and ability to commit to a 24-month supply, with appropriate tax compliance and financial capacity.

Requirements

• Tax compliance: valid SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or, if applicable, CSD number and TCS submission; where applicable, separate TCS for joint ventures/sub-contractors.
• Registrations: must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and CIDB prior to submitting bids; provide a full, recent CSD registration report (not a summary).
• Financials and accounts: current municipal accounts for entity and directors (not in arrears >90 days); entity’s three-year audited financial statements if procurement may exceed R10 million.
• Returnable documents: complete Schedule 1–5, water & lights certificate, authority to sign, MBD forms (1, 4, 5, 6.1, 7.1, 8, 9), and related declarations.
• Company/identity documents: copy of company CK document, certified IDs for directors, letters of authority to sign.
• Other: adherence to black permanent ink; no unauthorised corrections; compliance with GCC and PPR2022 requirements; minimum 60% functionality score to progress to price/preference evaluation.
