APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF CARWASH SUPPORT MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT FOR CITY OF MBOMBELA

Overview

Supply and delivery of carwash support materials and equipment to City of Mbombela (COM23/2026B). The RFQ seeks capable suppliers to provide five car-wash items (pressure washer, wet/dry vacuum, car shampoo, ultimate wash kit, and wash bucket) for township-economy support, with no briefing session. Bids are to be submitted for a firm price with delivery within 31 calendar days after award, and the price must remain valid for 30 days. Preference points apply per the 80/20 framework. The bid package requires compliance documents and registrations, including tax and BBBEE verification, CSD registration, and municipal rates/taxes validation. Closing is 06 November 2026 at 11:00. Requirements

• Valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN / SARS proof.
• Full Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration report (not older than 30 days).
• Certified BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (EME/QSE or consolidated scorecard for others).
• Certified company registration and directors’ IDs; proof of municipal rates/taxes or lease with lessor’s rates/taxes.
• For JV/consortia: detailed agreement and separate returnables from each party.
• Returnable documents as per bid conditions, including POPI-compliant handling and non-disclosure.
• Not in service of the state; complete MBD forms (MBD1, MBD3.1, MBD4, MBD6.1) as applicable.
• No bids from foreign entities unless proper pre-qualification applies; COIDA/other statutory docs as required.
