APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR BUILDING MAINTENANCE AT BITOU CAMPUS SOUTH CAPE TVET COLLEGE. CIDB GRADE 2GB OR HIGHER.

Overview

RFQ AB 29/2026 seeks a service provider to perform building maintenance at Bitou Campus, South Cape TVET College, including roof repairs, asbestos removal, ceilings, walls, painting and electrical works. Bidders must have CIDB Grade 2GB or higher, be registered as an asbestos contractor, and meet tax, safety, CIDB and B-BBEE requirements.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 2GB or higher; registered asbestos contractor.
• Tax compliance: PIN/CSD; SARS TCS where applicable.
• Local requirements: COIDA/compliance; CIDB and B-BBEE documentation.
• Experience: 2+ years with similar roof/building maintenance work; evidence via completion letters.
• Electrical: submission of approved electrical documents from an electrician or subcontractor.
• Other: COBIC/COIDA, municipal accounts, and CIDB registration proofs as listed in the bid pack.
