Overview

The PRASA RFQ seeks a service provider to calibrate and transport 14 Mark X Breathalyzer machines and issue calibration certificates. Bidders should have SANAS ISO/IEC 17025 calibration accreditation, capability to transport and service the specified units, and be compliant with RSA procurement requirements (Tax clearance, CSD, etc.). The work includes collection in East London, calibration, transport back, and certification upon completion.

Requirements

• SANAS ISO/IEC 17025 calibration accreditation (valid) or letter of intent on headed paper plus accreditation (RFQ Risk Calibration - Mark X Machines July.pdf).
• Full corporate documentation and compliance: Company registration, copies of directors’ IDs, valid Tax Clearance Certificate with SARS PIN, CSD number, proof of bank account; JV/consortium documents if applicable; complete all RFQ documentation.
• Pricing: Complete the official Price Schedule (Section 8) in the prescribed format, including VAT; submit on official forms.
• Compliance and ethics: Submit all mandatory documents; comply with National Treasury’s CSD registration if applicable; non-SOA disqualifications apply.
• Evaluation framework: Price (80 points) and Specific Goals (20 points); provide BBEE/EME evidence to claim preference points (Section 3, Section 4.2).
