Appointment of a service provider for development of an Implementation model for a Geo Stationary Fixed Satellite platform. Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in GEO satellite concepts (space segment, ground segment, CONOPS).
• Ability to develop funding/financing models and implementation roadmaps.
• Capability for capacity development, training, and technology transfer.
• Compliance with BBBEE requirements and local content where applicable.
• Tax clearance or SARS PIN/CSD registration; separate TCS for consortium members where relevant.
• Returnable documents: board resolutions, JV/consortium authorizations, SBD forms (4, 5, 6.1), tax/BEE certificates, company registrations, and general contract documents.
• Adhere to GCC and any SCCs; adhere to two-envelope submission (technical first, then financial).

How to Apply

• Closing: 09 September 2026 at 12:00. Submissions may be online via the eTender Portal or hand-delivered to Sentech, Radiokop. Late submissions not accepted (SBD1).
• Structure: Two envelopes required—Envelope One (Technical Proposal, no financials) and Envelope Two (Original Financial Proposal). Both envelopes must be placed in a single sealed package.
• Documents to submit: Complete all returnable documents (SBD forms, company docs, tax/BEE certificates), proof of authority (board resolutions for participation and JV), and a signed proposal per Sentech bid documents (SBD1, SBD4, SBD5, SBD6.1, etc.).
• Registrations: Tax clearance (SARS PIN or TCS), CSD where applicable, CIDB if required.
• Briefing: Mandatory briefing on 25 August 2026 at 10:00 via Microsoft Teams. Email tendera@sentech.co.za to participate (before 23 August 2026).
