Overview

RFQ to appoint a service provider for garden, grounds and interior plant maintenance at SABC KZN for five years. Bidders should be professionals in horticulture/landscaping with a minimum NQF6 qualification (or degree) and have a KZN-based operating office within 150 km of the SABC KZN Office; must meet mandatory registrations (CSD, TV licenses, tax clearance) and BBBEE requirements. The project runs for five years at the SABC Kwazulu Natal Office.

Requirements

• Mandatory qualifications and location:
  • Certified qualification in horticulture or landscaping (ND6 or degree).
  • Established operating office in KwaZulu-Natal; address clearly reflect entity/director details; site within 150 km of the primary site.
  • Attendance at the compulsory site visit (16 Oct 2026, 10:00–11:00, SABC Durban reception). (see SABC RFQ GARDENING SERVICES KZN.pdf)
• Required documents:
  • CSD registration; TV License for company and directors; valid Tax Clearance; BBBEE certificate; company registration and directors’/shareholders’ IDs. (see Annexure A–F; Annexure F is the Pricing Schedule)
  • Additional: proof of shareholders’ certificates and related company documents.
• Other: capability aspects (safety, OH&S) and technical references will be evaluated during the 90-day bid validity period.

  • Submissions must be PDFs protected from modification; pricing must be in a separate attachment. Bidders should submit at least 30 minutes before closing.
• Briefing/site visit:
  • Mandatory briefing: 16 October 2026, 10:00–11:00, SABC Durban Office (100 KE Masinga Road). Report 15 minutes early. Attendance is mandatory; non-attendance disqualifies bids. (see SABC RFQ GARDENING SERVICES KZN.pdf)
