APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR HIRING OF ROAD REHABILITATION MACHINES/EQUIPMENTS WITHIN GERT SIBANDE MUNICIPALITY AS AND WHEN REQUIRED FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS RE-ADVERT

Overview

Appointment of a service provider to hire road rehabilitation machines/equipment within Gert Sibande District Municipality for 36 months (as-and-when required). Suitable for experienced plant-hire suppliers with roadworks equipment, capacity to service and maintain rigs, and the ability to meet tax, regulatory and BBBEE requirements. Bidders must be able to sign a contract (MBD7) and comply with returnable documents.

Requirements

• Proven experience, capacity and fleet to perform road rehabilitation equipment hire.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN/TCS status; CSD number if no TCS; foreign suppliers must complete pre-award questionnaire.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; BBBEE status certificate or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs.
• No bids from persons in the service of the state; municipal arrears clearance.
• Completion and signing of official bid forms (MBD1, MBD7) and inclusion of company profile; pricing schedule; forms A–L.
• Attendance at the compulsory clarification meeting and adherence to 80/20 evaluation (price 80, B-BBEE/goals 20).
• Bids valid for 90 days from closing.
