APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR MV/LV SWITCHGEARS MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS FOR THREE YEARS. Target bidders are electrical engineering service providers with experience in 11kV/400V switchgear maintenance, including preventive maintenance, testing, and repairs; CIDB grading of 5EP or higher; SACPCMP-certified Health and Safety Officer; compliant tax and TV license; CSD registration; BBBEE considerations; and ability to provide on-site emergency support.

Requirements

• CIDB: minimum 5EP or higher
• SACPCMP-registered Health and Safety Officer
• SARS PIN and valid tax status; TV license valid or sworn affidavit
• BBBEE status certificate (SANAS) or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs
• Certified company docs: registration, directors/shareholders IDs, CSD registration
• Local content disclosure where applicable
• Maintain/improve awarded B-BBEE level
• Compulsory briefing (30 Sep 2026) and site inspection (01 Oct 2026)
• Compliance with SABC policies and past supply chain practices
• References: minimum of three 11kV–400V switchgear maintenance references
