Overview

Procurement of a service provider to render standard cleaning and hygiene services for the Office of the Surveyor-General Mpumalanga, Department of Land Reform and Rural Development, for 36 months. Ideal bidders are facilities/cleaning service providers with relevant compliance, capable of supplying on-site cleaning, hygiene products and related services.

Requirements

• Submit the bid on official forms: General Conditions of Contract (GCC), SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1 and Terms of Reference (and Pricing Schedule).
• Must be registered with the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and show the reference numbers on SBD1; SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) or CSD number required.
• Bid validity: 90 days; compulsory briefing session (11:00, 9 Sept 2026) and mandatory attendance (see BID DOCUMENT.pdf).
• Compulsory bid box submission in a sealed envelope by 11:00 on closing date; address per Bid Box details.
• Wage and cost requirements: wages for cleaners and supervisor must comply with Sectoral Determination 1; all cleaning equipment, consumables and hygiene products supplied by bidder; prices fixed for 36 months (subject to permitted increments).
• Performance security within 30 days of award; insurance and related GCC obligations apply.
• Compliance with PFMA/PPPFA and potential HDI/target goals if claimed (SBD6.1), with proof if required.
