Who should bid: service providers with relevant CIDB ratings and experience in water/wastewater plant maintenance or multidisciplinary maintenance/construction, CSD and SARS tax compliance, and the ability to supply materials and labour in park environments.

Requirements

• CIDB and health/safety prerequisites:
  • 34981: CIDB 2ME and 1CE or higher; COIDA Good Standing; Occupational Health & Safety file prior to commencement; SBDs; CSD registration; tax compliance PIN.
  • 37086: CIDB 2GB; COIDA Good Standing; SBDs; CSD; tax compliance PIN; PPE responsibilities defined.
• Compliance documents: SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1; Pricing Schedule; proof of CSD; tax status; site briefing attendance.
• Additional: Local preference elements (specific goals and local supplier proof) and safety/environmental standards apply to both.
• Site/operational notes: 34981 requires maintenance logs, testing to SANS standards; 37086 includes defined workforce composition and material mark-up.
