Overview

RFQ: APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR STORAGE, HANDLING, TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS SERVICES. The MHSC seeks a qualified service provider to store, handle and transport assets (ICT equipment and vehicles) during relocation, with a secure 33 m² facility for ~7 vehicles and equipment for ~68 staff. Requirements

• 3–5 years’experience in storage, warehousing, transportation/logistics, asset handling.
• Mandatory insurance: public liability, goods-in-transit, warehouse insurance (valid certificates).
• Compliance: Tax matters in order (SARS TCS PIN or CSD registration); provide CSD or TCS certificates; proof of SARS PIN/CSD number; applicable for consortia per RFQ.
• Returnable documents: fully completed SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, and Pricing Schedule (SBD 3); proof of CSD registration and tax verification.
• Storage facility requirements: secure indoor 33 m² storage with parking for 7 vehicles, climate control, fire detection/suppression, access control, inventory management, insurance and risk terms.
• Deliverables and duration: facilities ready by 31 July 2026; inventory register; daily and incident reports; final reconciliation; approx. 2 months (extension possible).
• Evaluation: Phase 1 SCM compliance; Phase 2 mandatory/technical; Phase 3 pricing and specific goals; site inspections may be conducted.
