Overview

Appointment of a service provider to supply and deliver 11kV bus bar and cable end bushings for the main substation 11kV panel at Isithebe. Bidders should be electrical equipment suppliers with experience in high-voltage bus bars and Reyrolle bushings (11kV), capable of supplying specified components and completing delivery. Requirements

• Register on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and/or provide SARS Tax Compliance Status/ PIN; separate TCS for consortia/sub-contractors.

• If no TCS PIN is available, provide a CSD number; ensure SARS in good standing.

• Complete and submit SBD 1 (Invitation to bid), SBD 4 (Bidder’s disclosure), SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim Form); attach required resolutions for signatory authority.

• Declare any conflicts of interest; comply with anti-fraud/ethics provisions; adhere to PPPFA 2022 and GCC terms.

• Evaluation: two-stage process—Stage 1 Administrative Compliance; Stage 2 Price and Preference (80/20 or 90/10 framework as applicable) with goals for specific disadvantaged groups (see below).

• Preference goals (points for 80/20): ≥51% Black Ownership (5), ≥51% Women Ownership (5), ≥51% Youth Ownership (5), ≥51% People living with disability Ownership (5).
