Overview

APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF EPWP PPE AT ISITHEBE INDUSTRIAL ESTATE. The supplier must be a PPE provider capable of delivering to Isithebe Industrial Estate, with experience supplying EPWP PPE and the ability to meet detailed product specs (navy/royal blue items, embroidered Ithala logo, reflectors, sizes, and materials for overalls, T-shirts, safety shoes, hats, raincoats, gumboots, and gloves).

Requirements

• Mandatory compliance and registrations: CSD vendor registration; SARS tax PIN/status; tax clearance; VAT registration; separate TCS PIN for joint ventures/consortia; ensure not in the service of the state as defined by policy.

• Required bid documentation: official forms (SBD 1 and SBD 4) completed; contract to be signed on SBD 7; pricing schedule (SBD 6.1); provide proof of authority to sign.

• Qualification criteria: proof of tax compliance via SARS/PIN; CSD entry; consolidated supplier information; disclosure forms (SBD 4); ownership/governance claims for specific goals (if claiming preference).

• Evaluation and preferences: 80/20 price-preference system (80 for price, 20 for specific goals); specific-goals points for ownership by Historically Disadvantaged Individuals (≥51% Black, Women, Youth, and People living with disability) totaling 20 points.

• Product specifications (EPWP PPE): overalls, T-shirts, safety shoes, cricket hats, raincoats, gumboots, safety gloves with defined colors, sizes, logos, reflectors, and fabric requirements as detailed in the specification.
