Overview

Appointment of a service provider for supply and delivery of maintenance consumables for the electrical department at Isithebe Industrial Estate. This is a supplier bid for electrical maintenance consumables; suitable for vendors of hardware, electrical components, and related consumables with ability to meet delivery requirements at Isithebe, under Ithala’s procurement rules.

Requirements

• Must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) or provide Springboard of tax/registration proof; separate TCS PINs required for consortia/Joint Ventures; if no TCS, provide CSD number. (RFQ-350/73139/2026.pdf)
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN/TCS verification; provide VAT registration number; ensure good standing with SARS; separate TCS or CSD for consortium members.
• Complete and submit SBD forms: SBD 1 (Invitation to bid with resolution), SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest), SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim Form), SBD 7.x disclosures as applicable. Pricing schedule to be attached.
• Evaluation uses 80/20 price–preference system with specific goals: ≥51% Black Ownership, ≥51% Women Ownership, ≥51% Youth Ownership, ≥25% People living with disability; provide corresponding proof (CIPC certificates) per Table 1. (PFMA/PPPFA compliance)
• The contract will be governed by Ithala’s SLA; negotiations possible; lowest price not guaranteed. (RFQ document)
