Overview

Moqa hka Local Municipality seeks a service provider to supply, deliver and install antivirus software (including 36 months of support) for 350 users and 20 servers. The contract runs 36 months. Bids should favor local bidders within Moqhaka and those with valid BBBEE status. A compulsory briefing will determine eligibility.

Requirements

• Compulsory briefing attendance; non-attendance disqualifies.
• Locality preference for Moqhaka residents and BBBEE status (certificate or sworn affidavit).
• Must be registered on the Centralised Supplier Database (CSD) and provide proof.
• Tax/financial clearances: valid SARS Tax Clearance or TCS PIN; separate clearances for consortiums.
• CIDB registration and grading if applicable.
• Municipal rates/taxes or equivalent proof not older than 3 months.
• Directors’ IDs and company registration documents.
• B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Original tender document completed in black ink; no retyping; return the full original document.
• Pricing schedule submission (see Annexure B) and adherence to MFMA-related performance monitoring.
• Evaluation uses a points system (specific goals and price); exact system (80/20 or 90/10) depends on contract value.

• Briefing: compulsory, 05 August 2026, 10:00 at Allen Rautenbach Hall, Hill Street, Kroonstad.
