APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF HYBRID PV SOLAR SYSTEM FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS.

Overview

Procurement of a service provider to supply, install and maintain a hybrid PV solar system for SANAS’s Pretoria head office over 36 months. Bidders should be experienced in hybrid PV solutions, with CIDB 4ME or higher (or 4EP), and be registered on the Central Supplier Database with valid tax status. They must also meet SANAS requirements including references and qualifications.

Requirements

• CIDB Grade 4ME or higher, or 4EP or higher.
• Three signed contactable reference letters for PV installations within the last 5 years.
• CIDB/contractor capabilities and 5+ years of PV installation experience; team with relevant CVs and certifications.
• Submissions must use a two-envelope format (Technical and Financial) in a hard copy plus USB.
• Bidder must be registered on CSD with Master Registration Number and valid tax status; SBD forms completed (SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1, SBD7.2, SBD3.3) and GCC initialed.
• Training, SSEG permits (City of Tshwane), sign-off by ECSA, NERSA registration, and fire/emergency safety requirements.
• All PV modules from a single manufacturer; 150 kW inverter, 300 kWh LiFePO4 storage; remote monitoring and reporting; compliance with electrical standards and local permits.

• Briefing: Onsite, mandatory, 13 October 2026 at SANAS Offices (303 Libertas Office Park, Equestria).
• Submission deadline: 27 October 2026 at 11:00. Late submissions not accepted (hard copy + USB).
• Submission method: Hand-delivered or couriered to SANAS reception; use the bid box during 08:00–16:30, Mon–Fri (excluding holidays).
• Documents to submit: One hard copy with two envelopes (Technical and Financial) plus one USB with all content; cover page with bid reference; SBD forms and pricing schedule (Annexure A); proof of CSD and tax status; CVs and certifications for key staff; reference letters; JV/subcontract documents if applicable.
