Overview

Procurement of a service provider for the replacement of redundant and broken rising mains in Velddrif. Bergrivier Municipality invites quotations from competent service providers with experience in sewer rising mains work (pump stations, concrete repair, pipe installation). Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and comply with SARS tax requirements, BBBEE, and SCM policies.

Requirements

• Fixed prices including VAT; bid valid for 120 days (from closing).
• Must be registered on National Treasury’s CSD; provide CSD number or TCS PIN.
• Tax compliance: TCS PIN or SARS tax clearance; submit with bid.
• BBBEE: original certificate or sworn affidavit; provide BBBEE status for preference points.
• Provide at least three contactable references with corresponding letters (similar work in last 5 years).
• Health and safety plan, including confined-space safety measures.
• Complete MBD forms if bid value > R30,000 (MB4, MB7, MB8, MB9, MB10).
• Late, faxed or incomplete bids not considered; Council reserves right to accept any bid.
• Locality scoring (10 points) and 80/20 preferential points for price/BBBEE/locality (total 100).
• No bids from persons in the state service.
