APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF THE MICT SETA ICT GOVERNANCE PROCESSES FOR A PERIOD OF TWELVE (12) MONTHSClosed

Overview

The procurement is the appointment of a service provider to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the MICT SETA ICT governance processes for a 12-month period. Bidders should have ICT governance assessment expertise, with COBIT 2019 or ISO/IEC 38500 certifications, and a proven track record in public-sector engagements.

Requirements

• Mandatory accreditation: COBIT 2019 or ISO/IEC 38500 certification (proof required).
• Experience: minimum five years’ ICT governance assessment experience with RSA client references; five years’ experience earns more points.
• Deliverables/approach: detailed Approach and Methodology covering document reviews, stakeholder interviews, benchmarking, and structured assessment tools.
• Compliance/registrations: registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and compliant with SARS tax obligations (PIN/TCS); provide CSD/TCS proof as applicable.
• Briefing and submission rules: attend the compulsory supplier briefing; submissions must be in a separate pricing envelope; bid validity of 120 days.
• Deliverables scope: Inception, ICT Governance Assessment Report, Maturity and Gap Analysis, Improvement Roadmap, and executive presentation to EXCO/Board.

• Deadlines: closing date 27 October 2026 at 11:00 SA time; bids are valid for 120 days.
