Overview

Procurement of calibration services for the diesel main tank flow meter, calibration of a 1000-litre diesel trailer flow meter, and the supply & installation of a fuel tank gauge. Bidders should have proven calibration expertise in fuel metering, relevant installation capabilities, and comply with SA regulatory and industry standards.

Requirements

• Calibrate diesel main tank flow meter; calibrate 1000-litre trailer flow meter; supply and install a fuel tank gauge.
• Provide calibration certificates/reports and testing/commissioning records; ensure QA and regulatory compliance.
• Use certified calibration equipment; provide qualified personnel; ensure site safety and minimal operational disruption.
• Compliance requirements: registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and SARS Tax Compliance; B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; proof of CSD and tax status for each party in any consortium.
• Documentation: responsive pricing in the schedule; adherence to SBD forms and RFQ terms; allow for potential negotiation.
