Overview

SANParks invites bids for the cleaning of reservoirs and tanks at Golden Gate Highlands National Park, Free State. The scope covers large storage tanks (2 x 250,000 L) and twelve 10,000 L JOJO tanks, with tanks drained to a 1–1.5 m water level for cleaning. Suitable bidders are contractors with proven experience in cleaning reservoirs/tanks, CIDB 1CE or higher, tax/compliance clear, and B-BBEE capability. (RFQ 29371/GGHNP/2026-27)

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 1CE or higher (proof required)
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN/TCS verification; CSD registration; proof if using CSD
• Returnables: fully completed SBD1, SBD4, and SBD6.1; pricing schedule
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration (proof required)
• Declaration of interest and related standard documents
• Experience: reference letters showing two years’ reservoir/tank cleaning experience
• Local goals: demonstrate local presence for Golden Gate area (Thabo Mofutsanyane) and B-BBEE status (certificate or sworn affidavit)
• Compliance with POPIA and SANParks terms
