APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF GUARD HOUSE AT WITKLIP PLANTATION. SAFCOL invites bids from construction service providers to build a guard house at Witklip Plantation, covering substructure, superstructure, roof, finishes, electrical, plumbing, and related works (CIDB 1GB+). Site meeting is not required. RFQ closes 06 August 2026.

Requirements

• Complete the RFQ document on the company letterhead.
• B-BBEE verification: SANAS-accredited certificate or sworn affidavit for EME/QSE.
• Tax clearance/status: SARS PIN or Tax Clearance; CSD registration (register within 7 working days if not already).
• CIDB registration: 1GB or higher; provide 3 completion certificates for similar works.
• Financial capacity: bank statement (within 7 days of closing) or proof of funding.
• ID copies of company directors; Supplier Code of Conduct.
• Returnable documents: all SBD forms signed; JV/BEE certificates if applicable.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 06 August 2026 at 12:00; late submissions will not be considered (RFQ doc: RFQ/WIT/019/2026, issued 22 July 2026).
• Submission method: email quotations to RFQCentralNSP@safcol.co.za; use RFQ number in the subject. Queries to Zwelakhe.Fakude@safcol.co.za.
• Documents to submit (as per Returnable Documents): fully completed RFQ, official quotation on letterhead, latest Tax Clearance, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, CSD (or MAAN), ID copies of directors, Supplier Code of Conduct.
• Pre-qualifications: CIDB 1GB+; COIDA good standing; attach 3 completion certificates for similar works; demonstrate financial capacity.
• Briefing/site visit: none required (site meeting not scheduled).
