Appointment of a service provider for the Dynamic calibration of the SO2 and NOx instruments at the Eskom

Overview

Appointment of a service provider for the on-site dynamic calibration of the SO2 and NOx gas analysers at the Eskom Gourikwa Air Quality Monitoring Station, Mossel Bay, Western Cape. SAWS invites SANAS-accredited calibration laboratories with gas metrology and on-site calibration capability to bid.

Requirements

• SANAS-accredited calibration laboratory for gas metrology (on-site calibration at Eskom Gourikwa).
• Provide calibration certificates for SO2 and NOx; use gas-phase titration (GPT) for NOx; schedule and complete on-site calibrations.
• Evidence of compliance: CSD registration or SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN; tax compliance; BBBEE status; SBD 3.3 (Pricing), SBD 4 (Bidder's Declaration), SBD 6.1 (Preference Points) submitted; POPIA supplier notice and consent.
• Phase 3: provide calibration references post-2018; multiple references; SAWS may conduct due diligence/site visits; SLA to be concluded if awarded.
• Compliance with GCC/SCC and ability to provide calibration certificates and performance management/scorecard.
