Overview

Appointment of a service provider for the service, repair and verification of weighbridges at Velddrif and Piketberg. Quotations are invited from competent weighbridge service providers with experience in service, repair and verification, SANAS accreditation for verification, and compliance with National Treasury’s CSD and SARS tax requirements.

Requirements

• SANAS accreditation for weighbridge verification; valid SANAS certificate to be submitted.
• B-BBEE documentation: original or certified certificate or sworn affidavit; points allocated per PPPFA.
• Tax compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or CSD number; submit with bid.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; CSD number starting with MAAA and TCS Pin/Tax details to be provided.
• Minimum documentation for quotations above R30,000: MBD forms MB4, MBD7, MBD8, MBD9, MBD10 completed.
• At least three references with contact details and reference letters for similar work in last 5 years.
• Prices must be fixed and inclusive of VAT; quotation validity of 120 days; local and price evaluation points apply (80/20).
• Eligibility: no quotations from persons in the state; complete bid documents and signatures.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 24 August 2026 at 12:00; sealed bids to the Bergrivier Municipality bid box at 13 Kerk Street, Piketberg (or posted to P.O. Box 60, Piketberg 7320).
