Overview

Request for Information for the licence renewal of the Mimecast Cloud-Hosted Email Archiving Solution for 4,500 user and shared mailboxes, including support services, for the Road Accident Fund (RAF) for five years. The RFI targets OEMs or Mimecast-accredited partners/resellers, requires registration in the National Treasury Central Supplier Database, SA-hosted SaaS deployment, POPIA/compliance, and a 5-year renewal in RAF’s Microsoft 365 environment.

Requirements

• OEM/Mimecast accreditation valid for the contract duration (or written reseller/partner authorization); provide documentary proof.
• Minimum two reference letters on Mimecast Cloud-Hosted Archiving engagements in the last seven years, with verifiable contact details.
• Deployment model: SaaS renewal with no new on-prem infrastructure; archiving administered via the existing cloud service.
• Hosting within South Africa and full POPIA/data-protection compliance.
• Eligibility: bid submissions via the National Treasury CSD; tax matters in order; not on restricted/tender-defaulter lists.
• Include evidence of active licences for 4,500 users/shared mailboxes and capability to support export requests.
