Overview

Procurement of a service provider for the maintenance and repair services for plumbing infrastructure for a period of three years. Open to bidders with CIDB grading 2SO/GB/CE or higher and capable of managing municipal plumbing maintenance for Garden Route District Municipality properties.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 2SO/GB/CE or higher. (GRDM/02/26-27)
• Registration and compliance: must be on Central Supplier Database (CSD); provide Tax Clearance PIN and VAT details; MAAA/CSD as required; valid B-BBEE certificate or certified copy; local locality proof for preferential points.
• Documentation: complete and return all returnable schedules; include MBD forms (e.g., MBD 1, MBD 4, MBD 6.1) and related PEC/contract data; ensure pricing is in Rand and VAT is shown separately.
• Preferences and local content: BBBEE status and locality claims with required proof; adhere to GRDM preferential rules (80/20 system for price vs. preferences; specific goals).
• Other: two-envelope system details (if applicable per tender data) and compliance with POPIA/Confidentiality; ensure ability to perform under CIDB contract conditions.
