Appointment of a service provider for the maintenance of cooling, refrigeration and freezing equipment including replacement of parts for a period of three (3) years

Overview

SANParks invites bids for a service provider to maintain cooling, refrigeration and freezing equipment and replace parts for three years at Golden Gate Highlands National Park. Suitable bidders typically hold CIDB grading 2 ME or higher, are registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), and can meet tax clearance requirements, CIDB admin docs, and related governance/quality prerequisites.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 2 ME or higher.
• Mandatory admin and registrations: CIDB proof; CSD registration; Tax Compliance status; COIDA Good Standing; Red Seal Trade Test Certificate; SARACCA membership; Compulsory Enterprise Questionnaire; SBD 1, SBD 4, and SBD 6.1 completed.
• Additional qualification/eligibility: Local supplier preference (as per B-BBEE and local address proofs); CIDB and other admin documents must be provided.
• Evaluation prerequisites: Reference letters demonstrating experience in maintenance of cooling, refrigeration and freezing equipment (1–3 letters weight up to 5 points); adherence to 80/20 price and specific goals framework with required proofs for preferences.
• Scope of work: Quarterly servicing of a defined list of refrigeration/food service assets (walk-in freezers, under-bar fridges, hotel fridges, chalet fridges, pantry coolrooms, etc.) and replacement parts as needed.
• Administrative compliance: Central Tax PIN or Tax Clearance; CSD number if no PIN; valid COIDA; Red Seal; SARACCA registration.
• Price schedule: Complete pricing for all line items and delivery to SANParks Golden Gate Highlands NP.
