Overview

Appointment of a panel of service providers for the maintenance of generators and the uninterrupted power supply (UPS) for a period of three years. Open to providers with CIDB grading 1ME/1EB EP or higher; scope covers maintenance/repair of generators and UPS at Garden Route District Municipality properties.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 1ME/1EB EP OR HIGHER (or equivalent as specified).
• CIDB grading for the project exists; official grading may be referenced in tender data.
• Proof of B-BBEE status: valid original B-BBEE certificate or certified copy.
• Tax/compliance: valid Tax Clearance Status PIN (TCS) or CSD number; MAAA Central Supplier Database registration; VAT included in pricing.
• Locality: provide proof of Garden Route locality to earn locality points; GRDM may verify office presence.
• Returnable documents: complete and submit all returnable schedules; include pricing schedule and relevant forms.
• Two-envelope submission: tender may require separate technical and financial proposals (as per Tender Data, Annexure A) (GRDM0326-27.pdf).
• Compliance with POPIA: confidentiality and data protection obligations; contract to include security measures.
• Contract duration: three years; council may award full or part of the bid.
